EESA plays a major role in providing specific and targeted professional development services to its members and the wider industry in each State. It has developed close relationships with a number of international associations and utilities, Australian engineering schools and training providers to offer specific professional development training and resources in its local conferences and seminars.
State Chapters of EESA are active in NSW/ACT, Queensland, South Australian, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
Each Chapter is managed by an elected committee who arrange seminars, technical visits and State conferences. They are the contact point for other professional development and mentoring, and they provide news items for the national newsletter as well as for their own section of the website. An annual National conference is rotated between States and each one is organised by the respective State committee.
