Summary of the South Australian Chapter

The primary objectives of the South Australian Chapter are to support the power industry by:

Providing opportunities for continuous professional development and networking
Running effective conferences and seminars
Stimulating university engineering graduates to take up careers in power engineering

The activities of the Chapter each year include:

Running a "Technical Program" with well-attended seminars on topical industrial subjects and safety-related areas
Running an "Awards Program" at the SA tertiary institutions to recognise high achievement in the field of power engineering
Supporting the Australian Power Institute's undergraduate bursary program
